REMEMBERING MR. BANTADHAAR:

I just laughed at the Congress Party and bowed before the foresight of our previous Chief Minister Mr. Digvijay Singh, who was christened Mr. Bantadhaar by the BJP.

After the 2003 elections he took a vow of not participating in active (*state) politics in Madhya Pradesh. What sharp intelligence he has, that he knew how much damage he has done and how much time will be required to nullify it, and the state congress leaders were unnecessarily running from pillar to post in these elections, ignoring their own leader’s view on the matter.

(* The original vow was ‘sanyaas’ from politics for 10 years, then it became active politics, finally it became active state politics, if I remember correctly!)

WHO AM I & WHY AM I HIDING MY IDENTITY?

I am an ordinary man like who felt enough is enough after the Mumbai Terror Attacks, thought of working to clean the dirt in our country and its systems. I felt that in Democracy Politics is the thing that controls and is capable of making far reaching changes.

For this I thought of forming a new political party with like minded people, I searched the net to know whether someone has already initiated the mission of rebuilding our nation, I came to know about Jago Party, became an active member that very moment. I didn’t want to dissipate my anger to different places and disrespect myself. I didn’t want to fight battles on TV but a war in reality, once and for all.

This is the context where my real identity subsided and I became Latent Dissent, how and why I came to this decision read ahead

If I tell you that I am from Bhopal, am 25 years old and support liberalism you would focus on my words and ideas, but if I add to that my name you would consider my views in the context of my religion and caste, adding occupation would further complicate the picture, I want to talk to you on the condition of our country not myself, that’s the first reason.

The second reason is that, the moment you talk of joining politics to make a change, people start imagining you as a selfish person who wants to fulfill his personal ambitions through politics, there is nothing wrong in the attitude, even I am skeptic of anyone who shows such inclinations, the reason is we have been cheated emotionally so many times by our politicians that we don’t want any further responsibilities of creating yet another scoundrel.

I further accept that I am no expert in the field, but my intentions are very clear on the issue, much better than many experts of this field. I want to change my country for good, I am doing, I am trying my best, THE TURN IS YOURS !

THANKYOU !

THERE IS NO SHYING AWAY FROM POLITICS. WHY?

It is believed that market is the best judge of people’s behaviour, as it understands the demand and supply pattern as also its survival rests on being dynamic and organic. Government institutions are considered defunct in this sense. And with time this sense is generalized to the system as a whole.

What we have not realized till now is that the basic framework of any society rests on its polity. The politicians decide the laws that govern the country, they lead the government and the country, and they control the armed forces, the police, the administration and above all the public exchequer. As we know the public exchequer is made from the taxes we all pay. The State acts as the judge between disputes, as the referee to ensure fair-play in the business.

If we leave politics for criminals and people of weak integrity and morals, the whole cycle gets oriented to serve the self-interests of these people who are aided by agents of all sorts and their counterparts in bureaucracy and business. The purpose of State, Democracy and Laws is defeated. See even after the Mumbai Attacks no party has a clearly drawn policy for terrorism, BJP wants POTA but how will they stop its abuse is not answered, all others are taking strong measures, what are these no one knows, Tell me if you have cracks in your house’s walls will you plaster it or whitewash it?

If good people stop entering politics, how will we see good politics and politicians, law and lawyers, policies and administrators, businesses and developed India? How can we strive for our own future when our collective future is at stake? We need to talk to our family members, friends and people at large about these issues.

The wave generated by the Mumbai Terror Attack is receding already when it needed to be turned into a Tsunami. Pakistan has slapped us in the face not once but many times that too in front the whole world. Then too our response to this is at best in the category of lax and don’t care. This is because people in power know that we have a habit of forgetting and ignoring their mistakes. This has to be changed.
